Preschool

FEA’s pre-school program addresses the social and emotional needs of each child. A positive self-image is fundamental for all children. Helping children feel confident about themselves, their ideas, as well as their abilities, are central to our philosophy. Our Early Childhood Center is a place for preschoolers to explore, discover and develop self-worth.

Children in this classroom work on structured activities with emphasis on fostering inquisitiveness, expression, and fun. To enter the Preschool room for ages 3-4, children must be at least 3 years of age by November 1st of the school year in which they begin and must be toilet trained. The ratio is 1 adult per 12 children.

Children in this classroom build on the 3-4 year old rooms’ foundation of self-help skills, independence, and social development. To enter the Preschool room for age 4-5, children must be at least 4 years of age by November 1st  of the school year in which they begin and must be fully potty trained.
