I have lived in Folsom with my husband and three children since 2007. I volunteered to help at the Muslim Community of Folsom Sunday School as a Qur’an teacher for eight years, and while serving in that capacity, I was given the opportunity to work with children of various ages.
I started working at FEA as a substitute teacher in 2016, and Alhumdulillah, I have now joined the FEA staff as a permanent teacher. Along with teaching, I am currently enrolled in the Islamic Online University (IOU), and I am working towards completing my BA in Islamic Sciences, InshaAllah. I have completed various courses on Tajweed, Uloom-ul-Quran, Tafsir, Arabic language, Hadith, Fiqh, Seerah, and Aqeedah from IOU. I have also taken one-on-one online Tajweed classes and early childhood studies from Ohlone College in Freemont, California. I love teaching children and pray to Allah SWT that I can be a positive influence in your children’s lives and help them develop a life-long relationship with the Qur’an.
