We are excited to begin the new school year! Below please find some important notes and reminders about the start of the school year.  Thank you in advance for your attention to the many details.

FEA Administration

Morning

Doors open at 8:10 AM, assembly begins at 8:30 AM, and classes begin at 8:45 AM.  In order to ensure a productive start to the day and maximize learning time, please have your student present at the assembly. Any student arriving during/after assembly will be considered tardy. Parents and guardians are welcome to join our school during the assembly. (Please refrain from speaking during Du’a and Quran recitation).

Pre-K families will continue to drop off their students between 8:10 AM thru 9:00 AM. Please ensure that your student is signed in and out daily as per CCLD regulations. Please know that if your student is not signed in, we will ask you to come back and sign them in.

Students in Grades K through 7th will report directly to their classrooms when the door opens at 8:10 AM.

Uniform

All students are required to wear a uniform. Uniforms may be purchased at Amazon.com, Khols, and Target.

Girls: Navy blue long sleeve jumper/ skirt
Navy blue tights/ leggings
White blouse
White Hijab for Assembly, Islamic studies and Quran classes (please write your Student’s name with a sharpie on Hijab)
Black shoes

Boys: Navy blue pants
White shirt/ polo
Black shoes

School Supplies

At the beginning of each school year, FEA will provide your student with school supplies. Parents, you do not need to purchase any school supplies for your student.

Lunch

Pack a healthy lunch, water bottle, and a peanut-free snack daily. Please don’t send glass containers, and we don’t have the capacity to heat lunches.

Afternoon

School is dismissed at 3:30 PM each day. Pre-school is dismissed at 1:30 PM.

• Students who are picked up will meet their families in their classrooms.
• Students who remain after-school will be escorted by their teacher to the afterschool room. After-school hours are 3:45 PM till 5:30 (Please pick up your student promptly, no later than 5:30).

Parking

Students must be dropped off/ escorted by an adult to the school.

All pre-school students must be escorted to their classroom and signed in.

Please don’t drop your student off in the middle of the parking lot or on the side of the road.

Fee

Tuition is due on the 1st of every month. Starting August 13^th. Parents are required to provide the school with postdated checks (August thru May) that will be processed monthly.
