Tr. Diana Awamla is a Kindergarten core teacher in her fourth year at Folsom Educational Academy and is entering her eighth year of teaching elementary education. She teaches English, Math, Science, and Social Studies. She holds a degree in Child and Adolescent Development/Early Childhood Education from San Francisco State University, as well as a degree in Computer Information Specialist.
Tr. Diana also holds a diploma in the science of Islamic Studies and has completed extensive coursework in special education. She has experience working in the public school system, supporting students with learning disabilities, and completed an internship working with students with autism.
She is passionate about creating a supportive, inclusive, and engaging learning environment where all students can grow academically and socially.
